Pride Niagara hosts its monthly LGBTQ+ Dance Party in the heart of downtown St. Catharines. With special guest hosts, drag performances and featured DJs. A 19+ fully licensed night OUT!
Monthly Pride “Drag It To Brunch”
Pride Niagara hosts an all ages classic Drag Brunch event held monthly in various cities in Niagara. With two separate seating times from 11am-2pm. Enjoy delicious brunch favourites and fabulous performances from Miss. Pride Niagara 16/17 Macy Manolo and Empress Claudia Silva.
Bi Monthly Pride Dining OUT
Teaming up with local LGBTQ+ supportive downtown restaurants, Pride Niagara promotes a bi monthly dinning OUT event. On this day every lunch/dinner guest that notify their server they’re a Pride Niagara supporter that business donates 15% of that supporters purchase back to Pride Niagara.
“Spilling the Tea”
Our community is fantastic as it is diverse, filled with dedicated individuals who celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ Niagara. Pride Niagara wants to introduce you to some of those team players who are supporting, educating, connecting, and celebrating all our community.
“Spilling the Tea” is a web series interview with Pride Niagara host introducing you to some of the amazing essential team players in our amazing LGBTQ+ Niagara.
Drag Queen Story Time
A family event for all ages. Sit down with local drag queens personalities Hairyetta and Miss. Pride Niagara 16/17 Macy Manolo, Miss. Pride Niagara 19/20 Hellen Heelz and Empress Claudia Silva for some LGBTQ+ positive stories . Teaching deeper lessons on diversity, self-love and an appreciation of others followed by an open Q&A .
Embracing the imagination and play of gender fluidity of childhood , giving children glamorous, positive, and queer role models without shame.
Niagara Pride Kick Off Party & Mr./Miss Pride Niagara Competition
Start Niagara’s Pride on the right foot with special guest DJ, Best Chest Contest, Best Butt Contest and Free Swag! A night filled with music, dancing and celebrating PRIDE! Featuring special guest Drag performers! (Fully licensed event 19+) Think you have some talent, something to show off? Feel like busting out and showing everyone your PRIDE! You can be The Official Mr. /Miss Pride Niagara! Contestants can be ANYONE who is Proud and not afraid to show it! With special guest performers from across Ontario and of course your host The Empress Claudia Silva.
Rainbow Flag Raising Ceremony
A fantastic opportunity for our Mayor and St Catharines City Council to show their support and unity with Niagara LGBT+ and supporting communities! Join us at St. Catharines City Hall located in the heart of Downtown St. Catharines. Listen and share with guest speakers and watch as we raise the rainbow flag, celebrating our unity and pride.
Niagara UNITY Awards
Niagara UNITY Awards showcases the important successes of individuals and groups that have made an impact for the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Plus (LGBT+) community here in the Niagara Region. The event featured an opening winery reception by Hernder Estate Winery, a formal three course dinner, live entertainment, a fabulous silent auction, dancing, and the Niagara Unity Awards ceremony itself.
Pride in the Park Festival #PITP
Taking place between 12pm – 10pm at Montebello Park in St. Catharines, PITP is an outdoor PRIDE festival with LGBTQ+/LGBTQ+ friendly entertainment. Live musical acts, Family friendly children activities, food and merchandise vendors, a fully licensed area, all ages DJ dance floor and more.
Annual Pride Niagara Halloween SCREAM Ball
Pride Niagara is excited to host its Annual LGBTQ+ Halloween gala, SCREAM Ball! A night to celebrate “All Hallows’ Eve” with ghoulish and outlandish style. With special guest hosts, drag performances and Best Costume Contest. (Fully licensed event 19+)
